- Select an article.
- Choose from the suggested articles list.
- Propose an article.
- Provide article title, author name, and URL to the Translations Project Manager (PM).
- The Translations PM will confirm translation does not already exist, obtain author and/or publisher approval, then let translator know.
- After approval is received, proceed with translation.
- If original document is a PowerPoint (.ppt) file, translation needs to also be in .ppt. Otherwise, translation should be provided in Word format.
- Credits to list at the beginning of the translation: Note article title, author, original publication date, and link to the original article, translator name, translation date, and any copyright statements requested by the author/publisher.
- Provide hyperlinks from the article embedded as they were in the original.
- When translation is complete, post final version in Basecamp and post message from Basecamp.
- If there are others who can provide feedback, request peer review. Copy the Translations PM so they have a status update.
- If peer review is not possible, let the Translations PM know the file is posted.
- After the final version is posted, the Translations PM will notify Noreen Whysel to upload it to the website.
- If needed, the Translations PM will notify author and/or publisher that the translation has been completed.
